New Necklaces .............

I have decided this year to find the time to blog more and post more of my designs...this blog is about 3 new necklaces, well 2 necklaces and 1 pendant that has yet to morph into a full necklace
NECKLACE 1...£13.00

Necklace 1 is a cord and silverplate donut pendant, I make all the cord necklaces myself as I like to see alot of cord threads, this one has 13 cords..although I haven't as yet put it on my website it is for sale
NECKLACE 2.....£20.00

Necklace 2 is made from hand dyed multiple threads and has a vintage agate slice pendant, This is a stunning necklace and I will definatly be using more hand ded threads in my jewellery. Both necklaces have silver plated fastenings and I can provide measurements should you be interested
And finally
PENDANT (soon to be necklace) ......£6.00

A cute cupcake pendant that follows my russian doll pendants that have been and still are very popular, this cupcake has a scattering of silver dust around it and can be hung from any chain, ribbon or cord...i don't know yet what i will hang it from but if you fancy buing the pendant on it's own get in touch

All 3 designs may end up on my website or they may come with me to fairs but if you like any of them please do send me a message

I DO LOVE CRAFT FORUMS.............

I love forums and especially craft forums , it's nice to be able to run an idea by another member who isn't fed up of you talking about your crafts like some family and friends may be,you also get an unbiased opinion of new makes and ideas plus a whole lot of support not just for your craft but in general
I have joined quite a few forums and not always felt i "fitted" but i'm now part of a new and exciting UK craft forum that needs crafty people who want to chat and help and show off their makes
Please do come and pay us a visit , while we are at the minute only a small group we welcome all crafters from hobby crafters, occasional crafters to business crafters.

We are a brand new forum not to be confused with forums that have been running a while

you can find us here

Wishing You All A Prosperous 2010....

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL AND I HOPE THIS YEAR BRINGS YOU HEALTH,WELATH AND HAPPINESS

for all those like me who's regular new years resolution is to lose weight i have found a funny little poem that i may print out and stick on the cupboard and fridge doors

Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the house,

Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.

The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste

At the holiday parties had gone to my waist.

When I got on the scales there arose such a number!

When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber),

I'd remember the marvelous meals I'd prepared -

The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared,

The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese,

And the way I had never said "No thank you, please"

As I dressed myself in my husband's old shirt

And prepared once again to do battle with dirt -

I said to myself (as only I can),

"You can't spend a winter disguised as a man !"

So away with the last of the sour cream dip!

Get rid of the fruit cake, each cracker and chip!

Every last bit of food that I like must be banished

'Til all the additional ounces have vanished.

I won't have a cookie - not even a lick!

I'll want only to chew on a celery stick.

I won't have hot biscuits or cornbread or pie.

I'll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.

I'm hungry, I'm lonesome, and life is a bore.

But isn't that what January is for?

Unable to giggle, no longer a riot -

Happy New Year to all, and to all a good diet!
